I think this a beat thing about PDA that it has an ability to go anywhere I go, simply by putting the PDA in my pocket or purse. Obviously though small and convenient, the laptop isn’t as easy to just grab and go. The PDA holds information just like a laptop, however the laptop has more memory. But still PDAs are more convinient as compared to laptop.

This of course would depend on the parent and how he or she feels about their preteens maturity level. As to whether the preteen should have a PDA or not.
